My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, albeit facing the main hallway traffic and offering a disappointing view of the carpark. On the bright side, they heated up quickly once I entered. The service was a bit hit or miss, with quick room change assistance and helpful trip recommendations, but sometimes staff seemed idle. The location was fantastic, with a short walk into town and a beautiful lake view, despite poor insulation. Dining was convenient without needing to go to the restaurant, offering amazing views but at a steep price. Overall, a decent stay with some standout features and a few drawbacks.

The hotel is conveniently located by the lake and the downtown Queenstown hub with wonderful views, but falls short on cleanliness standards and proximity to an industrial laundry. The rooms are a bit tired with marks and dents on the walls and a small shower.

The hotel rooms were tired and run down, smaller than usual, and turned into a sauna when showering, but it was conveniently located at the Glenorchy end of the building with spectacular Lake views. The staff, while friendly, were unhelpful regarding directions to the room. The dining experience offered lots of choices but was considered quite pricey.

The hotel is located just in front of the main road, waking me up early at 3:30 am due to vehicle noises, but it's within walking distance to the village. The room was smaller than expected from the photos, and I had a wet floor after a 10-minute shower, which the manager on duty thought was blood, offering a temporary fix. The location is great for access to the village but suffers from noisy surroundings.

The hotel had a mixed experience. While my room didn't look deluxe as expected and had a maintenance issue, I was pleasantly surprised by an amazing upgrade. However, the room was poorly ventilated, felt hot and stuffy, and in need of an update.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were a bit shabby and in need of a refresh, but the price was reasonable. Unfortunately, they were not very well maintained, with a dirty tea and coffee station. The smaller rooms were superior compared to the level 5 rooms, but I paid more for the latter on my second visit.

Service

The service was a real mixed bag. The staff came to reception on arrival, but the quality was very poor overall. I had to request room cleaning multiple times, and the staff seemed unhelpful and were even arguing in front of customers. On the upside, some staff members were extremely friendly and accommodating.
Location
9.0
The location was a highlight of my stay. It is extremely close to the city, within a short stroll to town, and offers a good view of the lake and mountains. The proximity to the main center of Queenstown was convenient and the ambience of Queenstown with the steamboat added a nice touch.
Dining

The dining options were a bit of a letdown. While some meals were very mediocre or average, the breakfast was just average. However, the restaurant had great views and a nice atmosphere, almost as nice as other cafes in town.
