Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, albeit facing the main hallway traffic and offering a disappointing view of the carpark. On the bright side, they heated up quickly once I entered. The service was a bit hit or miss, with quick room change assistance and helpful trip recommendations, but sometimes staff seemed idle. The location was fantastic, with a short walk into town and a beautiful lake view, despite poor insulation. Dining was convenient without needing to go to the restaurant, offering amazing views but at a steep price. Overall, a decent stay with some standout features and a few drawbacks.
The hotel is conveniently located by the lake and the downtown Queenstown hub with wonderful views, but falls short on cleanliness standards and proximity to an industrial laundry. The rooms are a bit tired with marks and dents on the walls and a small shower.
The hotel rooms were tired and run down, smaller than usual, and turned into a sauna when showering, but it was conveniently located at the Glenorchy end of the building with spectacular Lake views. The staff, while friendly, were unhelpful regarding directions to the room. The dining experience offered lots of choices but was considered quite pricey.
The hotel is located just in front of the main road, waking me up early at 3:30 am due to vehicle noises, but it's within walking distance to the village. The room was smaller than expected from the photos, and I had a wet floor after a 10-minute shower, which the manager on duty thought was blood, offering a temporary fix. The location is great for access to the village but suffers from noisy surroundings.
The hotel had a mixed experience. While my room didn't look deluxe as expected and had a maintenance issue, I was pleasantly surprised by an amazing upgrade. However, the room was poorly ventilated, felt hot and stuffy, and in need of an update.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were a bit shabby and in need of a refresh, but the price was reasonable. Unfortunately, they were not very well maintained, with a dirty tea and coffee station. The smaller rooms were superior compared to the level 5 rooms, but I paid more for the latter on my second visit.
The hotel needs upgrading and lacks a warning or discount for construction noise, but room service is efficient and staff are pleasant. The location is convenient, close to town, and with good facilities nearby.
The hotel offers stunning views of the lake and mountains from the spacious rooms, although some are in need of renovation with maintenance issues. The friendly service stands out, yet the front desk could be more helpful. The location is perfect for easy access to the town center but requires attention to details. Dining provides a pleasant experience overall, with some minor improvements needed. The facilities are generally satisfactory.
